Kim Lim’s Double-Diamond Wedding Ring Has Just Broken In Half, She Blames Herself For Being “Chor Lor”
We know what you’re probably thinking right now. For one, whose wedding ring has TWO diamonds? Secondly, whose wedding ring even breaks in half? Well, heiress Kim Lim’s apparently. Barely two months after her lavish 22/2/22 wedding, her wedding ring (which you can read about in this article) has unfortunately snapped in two in the middle of a holiday.

Kim Lim has been not-so-subtly showing off her massive double-diamond wedding ring on social media, which she’s been wearing everywhere, from home to friends’ places and even abroad.

Just recently, she was on a holiday to Dubai with new husband Leslie Leow and out of the blue - amidst all the posts on luxury shopping sprees and sightseeing - were a couple of snaps showing fans what has since become of her wedding ring.
“My ring broke into half…really too chorlor,” she blames only herself. “Chor lor” is Hokkien for “rough”, suggesting that Kim hasn’t been too careful with how she’s been handling her fine jewellery.

The posts were accompanied by a “HAHA” sticker and a sheepish emoji. Well, when you’re that wealthy, it’s easy to make light of such situations; We doubt other newlywed brides would be as calm in similar predicaments!
On the bright side, the diamonds can easily be removed and put into a new setting, so indeed not all is lost.
