This new take on the Jane Austen classic is written by bestselling author Dolly Alderton and directed by Heartstopper’s Euros Lyn. The six-part series promises to stay true to the original novel, following the slow-burn romance between Elizabeth Bennet and the wealthy, brooding Mr Darcy.

Before this, the story was adapted into a beloved 1995 TV series, followed by the iconic 2005 film starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.
