Wednesday Season 2 Teaser Trailer: Wednesday Returns With New Nightmares And Creepy Surprises In Season 2
It has been almost a year since Netflix announced the cast for Wednesday season 2, and now, they’ve finally given fans a proper update. On 23 April (yes, a Wednesday), the first teaser trailer was released and let’s just say, things are looking darker, weirder, and even more chaotic this time.

The new season won’t be dropping all at once. Instead, it’ll arrive in two parts: Part 1 premieres on 6 August, and Part 2 follows on 3 September.
In the teaser, we see Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) going through airport security, and obviously, it’s not a smooth process. She unloads a long list of deadly items — brass knuckles, knives, pepper spray, a taser, nunchucks, a flail… even Thing makes an appearance, chilling in her bag with a mysterious yellow bottle. What set off the alarm? Her sunscreen. Of course.

Back at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday is starting her second year, which is pretty shocking, considering she’s never been the type to look forward to school. When her mum Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) mentions it, Wednesday simply replies, “It’s like returning to the scene of a crime, I already know where the bodies are buried.” Classic.

She’s also reunited with Enid (Emma Myers), and we get quick shots of the rest of the Addams crew — Gomez (Luis Guzmán), Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen). Plus, Steve Buscemi joins the madness as the new school principal, Barry Dort. Expect creepy dolls, more danger, and that signature Addams dark humour.

Catherine Zeta-Jones teased that Season 2 will be “bigger and more twisted than you could ever imagine”, and Jenna Ortega has confirmed the tone this time leans harder into horror, moving away from the romance stuff in Season 1.

Joana Lumley will be joining this season as Morticia's complex mom, Hester Frump, and Wednesday's 'grandmama' aka her closest ally.

Of course, Hunter Doohan will be back as Tyler this season. Netflix released a new photo showing him chained up. He’s got shackles around his neck and arms, hinting that things aren’t going too well for him this time round.

More new faces joining the cast include Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, who plays Deputy Santiago, is also now a series regular. Oh — and Lady Gaga will appear as a guest star. Yep, that’s happening.
Wednesday Season 2 hits Netflix on 6 August (Part 1), with Part 2 coming 3 September. While waiting, it’s the perfect time to binge Season 1 all over again.
