Netflix Teases 'Wednesday' Season 2 With Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Footage
It’s not over, Outcasts! Netflix's Wednesday season 2 is officially on the way. Created by Tim Burton, this live-action series focuses on the always gloomy Wednesday Addams from the iconic Addams Family. The show quickly became one of Netflix’s top hits within weeks, leaving fans eagerly counting down to season 2.
And guess what? The first sneak peek of the highly anticipated second season is finally here!

On 20 September, Netflix released a special feature, where Luis Guzmán, who plays Gomez Addams, kicked things off by welcoming fans back with the line, "Hello, my little storm cloud." Right after, we see Jenna Ortega as the knife-wielding Wednesday Addams herself, saying, "Let's play dolls."
The clip is packed with behind-the-scenes action, showing glimpses of fire, intricate sets, and the town of Jericho where all the action unfolds. The vibe is just as dark and quirky as you'd expect!
Jenna Ortega sets the mood by clapping the scene marker, followed by Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams) and Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), who playfully announces, "Welcome to the set of season two."

Netflix, with a little help from Thing, confirmed more familiar faces are returning with a cast reveal video on 7 May. The video teased the additions of Thandiwe Newton and Steve Buscemi, plus revealed some new stars! Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Frances O'Connor, Joanna Lumley, Joonas Suotamo, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Christopher Lloyd (who played Uncle Fester in the 1991 Addams Family film) will all join the crew.
Joanna Lumley will be Grandmama, Steve Buscemi will take on Barry Dort, Billie Piper will play Capri, and Thandiwe Newton will be Dr. Fairburn. “Our aim this season was to bring in some fresh faces and acting legends we've admired for a long time,” said show runners Miles Millar and Al Gough in an interview with Tudum.

Returning cast members include Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), and Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Otinger).
The next season of Wednesday is scheduled to release in 2025, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
