Lady Gaga Joins Netflix's 'Wednesday' Season 2
Lady Gaga is making a special appearance in Wednesday Season 2! While the details of her role are still under wraps, insiders hint at a cameo on the hit Netflix show, which is currently filming in Ireland. Originally, the team wanted Gaga for a bigger role, but that didn’t work out.

She recently co-starred with Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux. Gaga, best known for her iconic music, has also earned an Oscar nomination for her role in A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper, plus three nominations for Best Original Song. She even won for 'Hold My Hand' from Top Gun: Maverick. Gaga has also starred in House of Gucci and a few seasons of American Horror Story.

Wednesday star Jenna Ortega had previously commented, “I’m sure Netflix would love” for Gaga to join the series after the Wednesday dance scene in Episode 4 went viral on TikTok, paired with Gaga's song 'Bloody Mary'.

Gaga is currently working on her seventh solo pop album, set to release in February 2025. The lead single, 'Disease', was recently launched in October. Earlier this month, Gaga earned two Grammy nominations for her Bruno Mars collaboration, 'Die With a Smile'. On 13 November, she followed up with a live version of 'Disease', titled 'The Antidote' edition, along with an instrumental version of the song.
Wednesday Season 2
Ortega returns as the iconic Wednesday Addams in Season 2, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo joining as regulars. Zeta-Jones plays Morticia, Guzmán is Gomez, and Ordonez takes on Pugsley. Returning cast includes Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, and more, while Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor are new regulars. Fans will also get to see guest roles from Thandiwe Newton, Christopher Lloyd, and Haley Joel Osment, as revealed in a Netflix cast announcement video.

After its November 2022 premiere, Wednesday became Netflix’s biggest English-language show, winning four out of 12 Emmy nominations. Season 2 previously faced delays due to the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes.
