Kim Lim Finally Shows Off Close-Up Of Wedding Ring, Which Has Not One, But Two Massive Diamonds On It

It’s safe to say that Kim Lim’s opulent 22/2/22 wedding was the ultimate wedding of the year - nevermind that we’re barely a quarter through 2022. Involving a rare $10k note as a gift from her billionaire father, 4 manicure changes, 16 gold bangles and more, the grand union between herself and husband Leslie Leow invited much chatter, for good reason. But amidst all that extravagance, one thing we never got a chance to see was her wedding ring.

Well, the 30-year-old socialite has finally started showing off that symbolic piece of jewellery, and it looks even more exorbitant than her engagement ring, which reportedly cost as much as a HDB flat.

For most of us regular folk, a wedding ring is usually a simple band - sometimes jazzed up with a row of diamonds, if any at all. Kim Lim’s wedding ring, however, subverts this traditional design, and looks like an engagement ring in itself - for it is everything but understated, with diamonds as the main focal point.

Yes, diamonds, with an “S”. There are two of them, and they’re huge. In fact, they’re so massive that can even be spotted even in wide-angled full-body shots like the above.

One of the diamonds is of a classic round cut, while the other has a pear cut (teardrop-shaped). Combined as part of the same ring’s double-band setting, they barely fit on her slender finger, and jut out at the sides.

If the engagement ring cost Leslie between $90,000 to $700,000 - the average range of HDB flats in Singapore - then we can’t possibly imagine how much this was priced at. But hey, billions more where that came from.

Since the debut of her wedding ring on social media, Kim has certainly not been shy about incorporating it into in her day-to-day stories on Instagram. Here, she's pictured posing demurely with her bling-clad hand resting on her face, while casually chilling out with some friends. Whether she's flaunting it intentionally or otherwise, we’re all for living vicariously through her, since a life like this is something many of us can only dream of.
