#2: Visit the new Gudetama x Bad Badtz-Maru pop-up cafe
Sanrio lovers who don’t really enjoy a heavy dose of pink and pastel will like the new Gudetama x Bad Badtz-Maru cafe at Kumoya. As with their previous pop-ups, this one will have themed mains, drinks, and desserts, all expertly styled and perfect for the ‘gram.

#3: Play tourist with discounted tix to GBTB, Wild Wild Wet, Jewel Changi & more
It’s unfortunate that all our travel plans have been put on hold indefinitely, but the upside to this is that we can play tourist in our own little red dot - sans tourist crowds. #5: Go crazy over cute merch at Singapore’s first PLAY LINE FRIENDS store
While we previously had to get our LINE FRIENDS and BT21 merchandise shipped in from Korea, this is no longer the case with the opening of Singapore’s first-ever PLAY LINE FRIENDS store! Expect giant plushies as well as small trinkets and stationery that will make you want to empty your wallet.
The store is located at Funan, which is an easy walk from City Hall MRT.
#6: Enjoy an affordable staycation from just $100/night
You probably have a lot of annual leave saved up, given that holiday plans abroad have been thrown out of the window. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take a break, though. Since more and more hotels are now being approved by the government for staycations, you can still enjoy a mini getaway in a home away from home.
#7: Admire the National Day 2020 fireworks
This year’s National Day Parade will be a scaled down affair, but that doesn’t mean it should dampen our spirits. In fact, the fireworks display will still be happening at 10 locations across Singapore - some spots with a good view include the Helix Bridge, Waterfront Promenade at Esplanade, and Merlion Park.

#8: Visit Ma Ma Spin Pot, a garden-themed conveyor belt hot pot restaurant
Conveyor belt hot pot is a fairly new concept in Singapore, but wait till you check out Ma Ma Spin Pot - Singapore’s only garden-themed conveyor belt hot pot restaurant - ‘cause it’s a complete game changer.
Apart from the gorgeous decor, they have very reasonable prices, with dishes starting from just $1, as well as a good range of soup bases including Collagen, Tomato, and Mala.

#9: Watch “A Choo”, a new movie by “Apple of My Eye” scripwriter
From the scriptwriter behind the tear-jerking Taiwanese movie “You Are the Apple of my Eye” comes a new film titled A Choo, aka Da Pen Ti.
This Fantasy-Romance is a star-studded one, with popular names like Ko Chen Tung, Wang Ta Lu, Vanness Wu and Ariel Lin as part of the cast.
#10: Share a 1.5L bubble tea tower with your friends
It’s time for beer towers to move over, because bubble tea towers are where it’s at. New Taiwanese bubble tea chain in Singapore, JLD Dragon, has a crazy 1.5-litre bubble tea tower which you can share with your friends, with a generous bowl of pearls served at the side.
