June's afternoon tea launches are looking good! Local flavours are in the spotlight, vanilla is taking centre stage in savouries, and even Taiwanese cuisine is in the mix.
Whether you need a mid-day pick-me-up with your bestie or an activity to entertain the kiddos this June holiday, here are four new afternoon teas to fill up your calendar with:
#1 Mdm Ling Bakery X Madison’s Afternoon Tea, Pullman Singapore Hill Street
Missed the Old Chang Kee-themed afternoon tea? No biggie, here's your second chance: Madison's has unveiled yet another charming local-inspired afternoon tea in tribute to Singapore's SG60 celebrations. This time, it's in partnership with homegrown favourite, Mdm Ling Bakery. As usual, the savouries and sweets are served in the hotel's gorgeous vintage trunk, with little compartments to open and unveil the treats.
Dig into familiar yet elevated bite-sized morsels like Satay Chicken Sando, Mee Sua Kueh, Salted Egg Yolk Bun, and a Mini Pullman-Style Rojak. Save the best for last and savour the crispy and umami-packed Chilli Prawn Pie Tee with 8 Gems Caviar.

#2 Conrad Singapore Marina Bay Vanilla-Themed Afternoon Tea
If you're on team 'vanilla flavour is anything but vanilla', this is the afternoon treat that'll prove you right. The Lobby Lounge at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay has infused their classic afternoon tea with thoughtful touches of locally cultivated vanilla originating from Mireia, Madagascar and Tahiti.
On the savouries front, the vanilla aroma is present but not overpowering, quietly enhancing rich flavours. There's a rich Tempura Mushroom balanced with vanilla-scented cream, Parisian Ham and Comté Sandwich delicately fragranced with house-whipped vanilla butter, a scrumptious Vanilla Brioche, and a Seared Scallop paired with mango-jalapeño salsa and vanilla espuma.

The sweets line-up is just as refined, imbued with subtle hints of vanilla without veering into the too-sweet territory. An undisputed favourite is the Matcha Vanilla Sonata that has delicate matcha sponge with raspberry gel and vanilla mousse, finished with cream and micro herbs. Meawhile, the Vanilla Peach Tart pairs white and ruby peach compote with Madagascar vanilla ganache in a sable base, and the Vanilla Orchard features banana compote, vanilla hazelnut mousse, and coconut sable in a tart-meets-petit gâteau format.
The one that you'll likely save for last AKA the pretty one, is the signature Vanilla Pod that's crafted to look like an actual vanilla bean. Under the glossy black shell is Tahiti vanilla whip and cream, layered with caramel and almond praline crunch.

Of course, it's not a proper afternoon tea sesh without freshly baked scones. You'll get two types here, classic and raisin, both lightly perfumed with Mireia's vanilla.
Available daily from now till 31 July 2025, the vanilla-themed afternoon tea is priced at $55++ per person and includes a welcomes drink as well as a TWG tea or Bacha coffee pairing.

#3 The Marmalade Pantry Summer Revelry Afternoon Tea
Craving a traditional afternoon tea that's simple yet hits all the right spots? The Marmalade Pantry has you covered with the summer edition of their afternoon tea. Nine sweets and savouries are made with seasonal ingredients, served in a classic tiered stand, and complete with house-made scones and artisanal tea.

Start off with two afternoon tea classics done right - the light and satisfying finger sandwiches with Chicken Cranberry and Cucumber & Dill Cream Cheese. Move on to the hot savouries like the crispy Chicken Croquette, the silky and comforting Smoked Eggplant on Sourdough Cracker, and the Pancetta & Sweet Potato Quiche.
Once you're ready to move on to the sweets, go straight in for the luscious Pistachio Cheesecake, the highlight of this tier. After that, give your palate a refresh with the tangy Golden Lemon Tart and bright and refreshing Berry Citrus Petite Cupcake, before indulging in the "macaron" that's actually a dense and chocolatey Red Velvet Whoopie Pie.
