A New Cat Cafe Has Opened At The Rail Mall For You To Cuddle & Play With Cute Kitties
Woe be cat lovers in Singapore, as we still can’t keep cats in our HDB flats - legally, that is ? Good thing we have cat cafes, where it’s possible to get up close and personal with furry felines, all without having to scour void decks in our neighbourhoods.
After successfully running in Bugis for a couple of years, The Cat Cafe has opened a new second outlet, this time at The Rail Mall at Bukit Timah. You’ll definitely want to put this on your “to visit” list, especially if you live in the West of Singapore!

Like its parent outlet, The Cat Cafe at The Rail Mall serves food and drinks for humans too. Look forward to beverages like coffee and tea, as well as light snacks like pastries.
Upon entering, you’ll first encounter the kitchen area, which leads to the cat playroom at the back.

The cat play area is kept minimalistic, with wooden furniture and soothing sea green accents on the walls.

While there are plenty of cat trees and climbing shelves for the cats to frolic on, there are also tables and chairs for us two-legged creatures to sit and chill at. In the middle is a good amount of open space for the felines to roam around freely.

Entry costs $16 per person for 2 hours, with a complimentary soft drink. If that’s not enough cat cuddle time for you, you can always get additional 30-minute blocks at $4 each, with an upgrade to coffee, tea, or juice for your beverage.

You’ll be glad to know that all the 11 resident kitties are either adopted from shelters or abandoned strays that have been rescued - just like in the first branch of The Cat Cafe.
