The Chinese title of the movie, “打喷嚏” (“Da Pen Ti”) literally translates to “sneeze”, but don’t worry, this isn’t a COVID-19-related film - as if we needed more of the dreadful virus in our lives.

Instead, “A Choo” is a Fantasy-Romance drama that follows the story of EJ (Ko Chen Tung), a boy who grows up in an orphanage. He meets a girl named Hsin Hsin and they share a mutual affection, and for some strange reason, she sneezes each time she thinks of him - hence the name of the show.

Hsin Hsin eventually moves away to work in the city, while EJ goes on to become a famous boxer - fuelled by Hsin Hsin once saying that she liked brave guys. However, Hsin Hsin ends up finding love with a geeky-looking guy, thus breaking EJ’s heart.
