#1 Ahopsan Forest (Busan)

The mysterious forest where Lee Gon goes to travel between two worlds is located in Busan. Ahopsan Forest has a long history that withstood the Japanese occupation, liberation, war, and industrialisation for 400 years before opening up to the public. The forest is known for its tall and magnificent bamboo trees that you often see in the drama.
Other movies and dramas such as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo had scenes filmed at Ahopsan Forest too!
#2 Daegu Gyesan Catholic Church (Daegu)

The church the cast of the drama filmed at is located in Daegu City, just a few hours away from Seoul! This Catholic church is the only remaining structure in Daegu from the early 1900s. The predominantly Romanesque church also features some Gothic architectural elements such as stained-glass windows and pinnacles.
Visit this place the next time you are in Korea and feast your eyes on the stunning architecture.
#3 Gwanghwamun Square (Seoul)

Gwanghwamun Square is a national landmark located in the heart of Seoul. At its center stands a statue of King Sejong the Great and a statue of Admiral Yi Sunshin. This is the place Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul first met each other in the drama! It's also where he recited the swoon-worthy line, "Don't go. It took me 25 years for me to meet you. I wish today will be a long day."

#4 Woljeonggyo Bridge (Gyeongju)

Head Court Lady and Lee Gon's bodyguard shared a conversation on Woljeonggyo Bridge, located next to the Gyochon Traditional Village in Gyeongju. This beautiful bridge will transport you back to the olden days of Korea and is the most breathtaking in the evening when the colourful lights are turned on.
#5 Taepyeong Salt Farm (Jeungdo Island)

Taepyeong Salt Farm is the largest sun-dried salt producer in Korea! This unassuming tourist attraction is where visitors can walk on a trail to learn about salt production and see the 'salt plants' that grow in the mud flat. Visitors can also participate in various hands-on activities such as raking salt in the field.
#6 Saseongam Temple (Gurye County)

In the first few episodes of the drama, antagonist Lee Rim was seen working at a temple built on a cliff. It's the Saseongam Temple located in Gurye County on Mount Osan, a foothill of Jirisan in the province of Jeollanam-do.
It looks as though the building is coming out of a rock and the small temple features a stone staircase adorned with beautiful tiles. The temple also made it to CNN's list of the 33 most beautiful temples in South Korea!
#7 Jungri Sports Park (Daegu)

The sweet scene where time stops so that Lee Gon has the chance to admire Jung Tae Eul was filmed at Jungri Sports Park in Daegu. The autumn foliage in the background made it even more romantic!
Make sure you visit around autumn as well to really immerse yourself in that scene when you are there and it will surely cure all your post-drama syndrome.
