A Whisker Away: Sailor Moon Director's New Japanese Anime Movie Coming To Netflix On 18 June
How far would you go to get close to your crush? For Miyo in new Netflix anime movie “A Whisker Away”, turning into a cat to gain a boy’s attention seems like no big deal.
Directed by Junichi Satoh - the same guy behind “Sailor Moon” - this Japanese animated fantasy film about love and cats will be coming to Netflix soon on 18 Jun 2020.

Titled “Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu” in Japanese, 1 hour 44 minute movie is set in modern times and follows Miyo, a girl who transforms into a cat to win her crush Kento’s affections.

He loves her as a cat - without knowing who really is under all that fur - but doesn’t pay much heed to her when she’s in human form.
As time passes, the lines between her human self and cat self become blurred. Will she end up stuck as a cat forever?

Film director aside, other notable names that are part of this movie include Natsuki Hanae, voice of Tanjiro Kamado in “Demon Slayer”, as well as Mirai Shida, voice of Kayo Horikoshi from Studio Ghibli’s “The Wind Rises”.
