What is the stop-motion series about?
The story takes us to Mariland, where My Melody opens her own super cute cake shop. But her sugar-filled days take a twist when she finds a mysterious pink heart in the forest, and strange things start happening! Across the street, Kuromi runs her own Japanese sweets shop but struggles to pull in customers. The two sweet rivals soon get ready for a bake-off, where the famous pastry chef Pistachio will judge their yummy creations.

The series is directed by Tomoki Misato and written by Shuko Nemoto, and it’s produced by TORUKU from WIT Studio, known for creating stunning anime.
The best part? The theme song, "Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)", is sung by popular K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM! We really love My Melody and Kuromi, so we were thrilled to be chose to sing the theme song!" said group leader Kim Chaewon. Member Huh Yunjin also helped co-write the English lyrics with Gen Hoshino.
