Themed hotels are all the rage these days, especially in Japan. There’s Hotel Okinawa with 66 different Sanrio-themed rooms, a Pokemon hotel in Tokyo and Kyoto, and even a Naruto-themed hotel in Hyogo. But these are rare in Singapore, so the next best thing? Turning your HDB flat into a character-themed funhouse, of course!
A homeowner in Bukit Batok has transformed their home into a Snoopy wonderland with the help of interior design company Absolook, and it’s every Peanuts fan’s dream come true. Here’s a virtual walkthrough.

With a floor space of 93 square metres, this 4-room flat at Bukit Batok is entirely decked out in Snoopy decor. Mixing cartoony fun with plenty of light wood and rustic brown furniture, the end result is something that’s cute, liveable, and classy at the same time.
The living room has a couple of Snoopy figurines, and against the brick feature wall is a TV stand modelled after his red kennel.
Next to that is the dining area, which has another brick feature wall, this time with a mini mural featuring Snoopy and friends. Looks like you’ll never feel lonely here, even if you’re having a meal alone.
While the kitchen itself does not have any character-themed furniture, it follows suit with the same relaxing green colour accents found in the living and dining areas.
This green shade further extends to the rooms - namely the master bedroom and a study room.
Another bedroom has a contrasting red and white colour scheme, with a giant decal of the white dog above the flatscreen TV.
A particularly interesting feature of this room is a wall with a Peanuts comic mural.
