Time To Wiggle That Bum: Wong Fu Fu Has Unveiled A Crayon Shinchan-Themed Cafe
It's been four years since the now-closed Kumoya's Crayon Shinchan cafe debuted in Singapore, and now, we finally get another themed cafe dedicated to this butt-flashing fiend! The halal-certified restaurant along North Bridge road, Wong Fu Fu, is having a pop-up Crayon Shinchan cafe for a 2-month run starting this Thursday, 19 June 2025.
And besides the cute themed food, diners also get to enjoy selected Taiwanese-inspired dishes from the regular Wong Fu Fu menu.
For mains, the must-order is the Signature Japanese Seafood Curry Rice ($23.90) simply for the 3D rice butt. It comes with Japanese curry and a surprisingly generous serving of fried seafood including ebi, scallop, squid and salmon.

Another option that's just as photo-worthy is the Signature Mini Bowls ($20.90). The tray comes with three mini Shinchan bowls filled with Taiwanese-inspired dishes. There's a good mix of carbs, like the Scallion Braised Beef Noodles and Fried Rice with Smoked Duck, and more indulgent proteins with fried mid wings.

If that's not enough to fill you up, go for some of the Snacks ($11.90 - $14.90) like tater tots, cheese sticks and fries. Each order is served in a Limited-Edition Shinchan Chocobi Box that you can bring home as a souvenir - don't worry, it's clean as the food is sealed in a bag inside.
No visit to a Crayon Shinchan cafe is complete without getting that iconic butt smack footage, so order yourself the Shinchan Butt Japanese Parfait ($12.90). Front and centre is a custard pudding in the shape of Shinchan's bum that has the perfect texture to jiggle as you smack it with a spoon.
The novelty aside, this parfait is actually a pretty satisfying dessert. Under the "butt" is a light vanilla sponge cake layered with fresh cream, strawberries and Biscoff crumbs.

For maximum kawaii aesthetic at your table, get one of the Drinks ($9.90 - $10.90) as they're served in cute Crayon Shinchan cups and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.

If you're dining with people who are not just fans of Crayon Shinchan but matcha too, it's your sign to splurge on the 5-Litre Strawberry Matcha Latte. This massive cup holds a whopping 5 litres of Strawberry Matcha goodness. It's priced at $69.90, which seems steep, but is large enough to be shared among five to eight friends, and think about all the funny videos you'll get to post on your stories!

Fun fact: this is the same restaurant that had a pop-up Miffy-themed hot pot run, so fingers crossed we can expect even more cute cafe collabs in the future!
Note that there is a minimum spend of $20 per diner (before service charge) during the Crayon Shinchan cafe pop-up period.
