The New LOEWE x Studio Ghibli Collection In Singapore Has Howl’s Moving Castle- Inspired Bags, RTW & Accessories

After two collaboration collections featuring Totoro and Spirited Away, Loewe and Studio Ghibli are teaming up one final time for a new collection that's a wearable version of yet another beloved Hayao Miyazaki film - Howl's Moving Castle.

Launching worldwide on 2 February, the ready-to-wear, bags and accessories are bold and intricately crafted, featuring recognisable characters and backdrops from the film.

The whole ensemble - Sophie, Howl, Calcifer, Markl, Heen, Turnip Head and the Witch of the Waste - decorate the clothing and accessories. They're drawn as leather or shearling intarsia, turned into embroidery or crystal and stud inlays, and even transformed into bags in the shape of their 3D form. Scenes of the film are printed in the lining of tweed jackets or all over t-shirts and shorts.

The collection consists of iconic LOEWE bags including the Puzzle, Flamenco and Hammock, as well as small leather goods, charms and ready-to-wear such as jackets, shirts and hoodies. A particularly covetable piece is the adorable AirPods case shaped like the fire demon Calcifer!

The LOEWE x Studio Ghibli: Howl's Moving Castle collection will launch on 2 February 2023 or a day earlier for those who sign up for early access on loewe.com. Prices are not out yet, but based on their two previous collections, we're guessing it'll range from $3,200 to $6,200 for bags, $550 to $1,650 for small leather goods and $750 to $3,700 for ready-to-wear.
