Now, here's a no-skip canon event for POP MART fans to look forward to. SKULLPANDA has officially taken over National Museum Singapore with a brand-new exhibition that promises countless photo spots, interactive installations, and an array of gorgeous limited-edition merch!

Marking the character's international debut, SKULLPANDA CAGE-UNCAGE is an immersive and thought-provoking display that explores the choices we have to make as humans, and how they impact our identities.

The exhibition is divided into six themed spaces (Emotion, Fortune, Rules, Exploration, Life, and Direction), each representing a different facet of the central theme. From fragmented mirror corridors to floating spheres, shimmering crystals and touch-based installations, every zone transforms abstract ideas into visually stunning moments.

Highlights

Some of our fave spots include a glowing keyhole at the start of the exhibition, which looks like a kaleidoscope of light on closer inspection, the Direction room's enormous transparent turning pages, as well as Fortune's mirrors and crystals that bounce light in every direction.

There's also the impressive interactive scales over in the Rules area, and the huge turning puzzle in the Exploration space.

But the highlight of the whole exhibition is The Room, a mirrored infinity space featuring two larger-than-life SKULLPANDA sculptures holding keys.

Feel free to reach out and touch the sculptures; these are made to be interacted with, and you can even lean against them while taking photos!

Besides creating an optical illusion that's just perfect for the 'gram, this area is designed to question our relationship with freedom and constraint.

And of course, we can’t forget this Singapore-exclusive birdcage installation, which pays homage to the local bird-singing hobby. Suspended cages display prototype figurines from the Paradox Series, accompanied by a video artwork that traces Xiong Miao’s butterfly emblem through iconic Singapore landmarks.

Exclusive Merchandise
