The eccentric castle in Howl's Moving Castle seems to have come to life in La Felicità 九樹森林. This cosy homestay is located in Nantou, Taiwan which is about 2 hours away from Taichung and 4 hours away from Taipei by train.

Much like the real Howl's Moving Castle, the interior of the rooms is much cosier than what you'd expect from the rugged exterior. ?

Besides this Howl's Moving Castle lookalike, there are also other aesthetically pleasing spots around the homestay like a tunnel bed nook and a hanging birds nest like the ones in Bali.

The homestay area including the nearby pizza restaurant is pet-friendly so you might spot some cute dogs during your stay. There will also be less adorable animals, aka mosquitoes, around the area too so remember to bring along insect repellent.
