Going on a staycation is by far the best way to escape the daily grind, especially after surviving another hectic year. But if standard hotel rooms are becoming too predictable for you, it’s time you check into loft hotel rooms. These spaces have unique architectural layouts with taller ceilings and stairs, perfect for living out your penthouse fantasy for a couple of days. We’ve rounded up 7 hotels with loft rooms in Singapore to book for a different ambience for your end-of-year staycation.

#1 Citadines Connect City Centre - from $258/night

Citadines Connect City Centre is housed on the site of what was once colonial Singapore’s main railway station in the early 1900s, which explains the medley of retro and contemporary decor in its interior design.

Its loft rooms, Loft 1 (from $258)Loft 2 (from $258) and Loft Family (from $270), are all between 23 to 27 square metres and come with a queen bed and the choice of a sofa bed, with the latter costing an additional fee. They have two different types of layouts as well, one where the rest area is upstairs and the living room downstairs, and vice versa.

Unlike the hotel's lobby, which sports gold and warm hues, the lofts follow a minimalist theme with splashes of yellow and royal blue, which brightens up the room.

What’s more, the hotel has an outdoor pool which connects to a wading pool, alongside a fitness room, an aqua gym, and two F&B concepts - Edition Rooftop Bar & Restaurant which offers Western and Asian fusion dishes, and Japanese-European inspired Cafe Natsu.
