Netflix Tudum 2025: All The Major Announcements And New Trailers

Netflix Tudum 2025 took over the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on 31 May, and Netflix made sure it was anything but low-key. With Sofia Carson as host, the event gathered some of Netflix’s biggest names and revealed major updates on its most anticipated shows and films. For the first time, Tudum was streamed live on Netflix, allowing viewers worldwide to tune in and catch the action as it happened.

Here are some of the biggest highlights from the event:

  1. 'Squid Game' Season 3 Trailer Drops


    Fans got their first look at the intense action awaiting in the final season of Squid Game. The trailer teased new deadly challenges and a face-off between Gi-hun and the unmasked Front Man. Season 3 premieres on 27 June.

  2. Frankenstein Gets a Dark Twist

    Horror enthusiasts were treated to a chilling teaser for Guillermo del Toro's upcoming adaptation of Frankenstein. Oscar Isaac stars as Victor Frankenstein, with Jacob Elordi portraying the tragic creature. This creepy reimagining drops this November.

  3. Lady Gaga Joins 'Wednesday' Season 2

    Lady Gaga is officially stepping into the world of Wednesday as Rosaline Rotwood — a mysterious new teacher at Evermore Academy who might just give Wednesday a run for her money. The pop icon made her entrance in the most Gaga way possible: rising from a coffin that read “Here Lies the Monster Queen”.

    She hit the stage with a spooky mash-up of “Zombie Boy”, “Bloody Mary”, and “Abracadabra”, in full gothic glam. She even brought back the iconic Wednesday dance. Season 2 will drop in two parts: Part 1 on 6 August and Part 2 on 3 September.

  4. Stranger Things Season 5 Is Finally Coming

    After what felt like forever, we finally have the release dates for the last season of Stranger Things. Tudum gave us a sneak peek of what’s coming, and things aren’t looking good in Hawkins. The final fight is on, and Eleven and the gang are up against their biggest threat yet.

    Season 5 will be released in three parts: four episodes on 26 November, three more on Christmas Day (25 December), and the finale on 31 December.

  5. One Piece Fans, Meet Tony Tony Chopper

    Season 2 of the One Piece live-action series is on the way, and guess what? Chopper is finally making his debut! Mikaela Hoover will voice and facial-capture the fan-favourite reindeer doctor. The main cast showed off a first look at the new season, and it’s looking pretty epic!

    The new season hits Netflix in 2026.

  6. Ben Affleck & Matt Damon Team Up For The Rip

    Besties Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are back — this time with a gritty new crime thriller. The Rip follows a group of Miami cops who stumble upon a pile of hidden cash. But as money enters the picture, loyalties start to crack, and chaos unfolds.

    The Rip lands on Netflix on 16 January 2026.

  7. New Knives Out Movie Drops This December

    Daniel Craig returns as Benoit Blanc in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. This third movie takes a darker turn, with a star-studded cast including Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and more. The movie premieres on 12 December 2025.
