You'll start at the entrance where you'll be given a Cone-nection Cube, a series of quests that you and your partner or friends will have to complete while exploring 14 multi-sensory installations. Should you successfully complete the Cone-nection Cube, you'll be rewarded with a celebratory sprinkle shot end of your visit.

Some of the easier quests include guessing your partner's favourite ice-cream flavour and creating a cool secret handshake – all while enjoying free-flow ice cream.

We then entered the retro-style Scream's Diner where we had to name 3 best traits of our partner before receiving a glass of refreshing, floral Hendrick’s Lunar Gin cocktail to cleanse our palettes from all those sweet treats.

The next activity was Scissors, Paper, Stonescoop (a wordplay on the classic game Scissors, Paper, Stone) which my partner and I had to compete while bouncing on a pink bouncy castle - an exhausting but great way to burn those calories after our sinful treat.

Following that was a dance-off in a secret room with psychedelic disco lights. As both my partner and I are introverts with sub-par dance moves, we were glad that the space provided us with enough privacy to complete the activity.

This next station requires one to throw balls through hoops. Sounds easy? Here's the catch: your partner has to mimic the way you shoot your ball. To increase the fun factor, we recommend that you get as creative as possible such as hooping with one arm or standing on one foot as you attempt to get the ball through the hoop.

The highlight of our night was a card game – “Where Should We Begin - A Game of Stories”. For the uninitiated, it's a game designed by psychotherapist and New York Times bestselling author Esther Perel, where players engage in an intimate self-disclosure through a series of thought-provoking questions.

Our last stop was the Sprinkle Pool where we had a staring contest that ended in a sprinkles fight, letting our inner child loose.

We ended our rather fun experience on a romantic note with complimentary sprinkle shots, cocktails and heart-to-heart talks at the alfresco cafe & bar that's decked out in pink palm trees, fairy lights and comfy lounge chairs. Best of all, it's open to the public and does not require patrons to be MOIC ticket holders.

The Pink-a-Colada ($16) and Roseberry Freedom ($19) were a few of the IG-worthy drinks we've tried with our favourite being the former as the tropical blend boasted a light and refreshing aftertaste. The bar also offers a myriad of craft beers from local brewery Brewlander's, wines, and spirits. Else, you could opt for mocktails, milkshakes or coffee should alcoholic beverages are not up your alley.

Ticket prices start from $48 for a 60 to 90-minute experience that includes a Hendrick’s Lunar Gin cocktail and unlimited sweet treats, which we'd admit that it's on the pricier side but will still highly recommend for a date night with bae or girls' night out. The first MOIC Night at the Museum run commences on 1 February 2022 at 6pm. Get your tickets here.
