'Zootopia 2' Trailer: Judy & Nick Go To Therapy While Tracking A New Threat
Just two months after the teaser, Disney has dropped the full Zootopia 2 trailer, and it looks like things are getting rocky between our favourite bunny and fox duo.

The sequel picks up just a week after Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde officially become partners. But instead of working in perfect harmony, the two end up in group therapy for cop pairs who can’t stand each other.

In the trailer, Judy tries to convince a cute quokka therapist named Dr Fuzzby, voiced by Quinta Brunson, that she and Nick get along just fine. Of course, that backfires when Fuzzby points out Judy’s non-stop foot tapping and calls Nick out for being emotionally shut off, all in front of the group. Awkward.

To stay on the force together, the two must track down a mysterious snake named Gary, voiced by Ke Huy Quan. But Gary isn’t just sneaky, he’s proving impossible to catch.

As they chase him down, Judy and Nick find themselves in new spots like the Marsh Market. One scene shows hippos getting tattoos in the swampy district, and the duo also run into familiar faces like the tiny crime boss Mr. Big and his now-married daughter, Fru Fru.

The new film also brings back Idris Elba as Chief Bogo and Shakira as Gazelle, while introducing newcomers like Fortune Feimster as Nibbles the beaver.

Disney first announced the sequel was in the works last year during an earnings call. The original film, which followed Judy and Nick solving a string of disappearances, made over $1 billion worldwide and even got a Disney+ spinoff, Zootopia+, in 2022.
Zootopia 2 hits theatres on 27 November 2025. Watch the trailer below:
