Disney Unveils Teaser Trailer For ‘Zootopia 2’ Featuring New Characters And A Swampy District
It’s been almost 10 years since we last saw our favourite bunny-cop duo Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on screen — and they’re finally back! Disney just dropped the teaser trailer for Zootopia 2, and it looks like the wait was worth it.

Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are still partners at the ZPD, but they’re headed somewhere brand new this time — a swampy district called Marsh Market. It’s a water-based area full of hippos, beavers, and otters, and from the looks of it, things get a little messy.

A few new faces are joining the adventure too. Ke Huy Quan voices Gary De’Snake, a smooth-talking snake who clearly has sssssecretsssss. Quinta Brunson is playing a cheery quokka therapist named Dr. Fuzzby, and Fortune Feimster will voice a beaver named Nibbles.

In the teaser, Judy, Nick, and Gary race through different areas of Zootopia with hippo cops hot on their tails. Along the way, they run into a cloaked figure with glowing eyes. Talk about suspense!

Shakira is also returning as Gazelle. "She's got a new look, a new song and of course, new dance moves," said Shakira at at the D23 Brazil expo last year." Just wait until you see what she and her tiger dancers have been working on. I know you're going to love it."

Directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard have promised that the sequel will take us to unexplored corners of the animal metropolis. Besides Marsh Market, fans can look forward to new environments, new species, and of course, a whole lot of laughs, action, and cuteness.
