Disney Releases 'Lilo & Stitch' Live-Action Remake Teaser And It Is Absolutely Adorable
Disney just dropped a new teaser for the live-action Lilo & Stitch, and yes, our favourite cute and fluffy blue chaos machine is back! With a mischievous grin, Stitch stomps into the scene, destroying a perfectly built Disney-style sandcastle—and honestly, we couldn’t be more excited!

Chris Sanders, who originally brought Stitch to life, is returning to voice everyone’s favourite alien. Newcomer Maia Kealoha takes on the role of Lilo, the spirited Hawaiian girl who turns a “dog-like alien” into family.

The story follows Lilo, who adopts Stitch, an alien engineered to wreak havoc. Together, they face nosy social workers, chasing aliens, and their own misfit struggles to discover the true meaning of family. Sydney Agudong stars as Nani, Lilo’s protective older sister, with Kahiau Machado playing David, Nani’s surfer love interest. The star-studded cast also includes Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen, Courtney B. Vance, Amy Hill, and Tia Carrere.

The original 2002 animated film, directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, became an instant fan favourite. It inspired a whole universe of stories, from sequels like Stitch! The Movie and Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, to a TV series and the finale movie Leroy & Stitch.
