The restaurant's name, concept and menu is inspired the Cantonese and Taiwanese slang "masa". This term is often used to describe a big corporate raider, big corporate investor and even the master of the underworld triads - Black Society 黑社会.
That said, the restaurant looks every bit as glamorous and extravagant as you'd expect. Black walls and a bird cage seating area creates a cosy and luxe ambience while green walls and hanging vines add a romantic flair.
