Now that travel is out of the question, dining in picturesque settings is the way to give ourselves a treat. And there are plenty of options from the Kyoto-style restaurant with a zen garden and koi pond and one with walls of mahjong tiles to a hot pot restaurant with a mini Doraemon exhibition.
Here's another one to add to your checklist: Masa by Black Society.

The restaurant's name, concept and menu is inspired the Cantonese and Taiwanese slang "masa". This term is often used to describe a big corporate raider, big corporate investor and even the master of the underworld triads - Black Society 黑社会.
That said, the restaurant looks every bit as glamorous and extravagant as you'd expect. Black walls and a bird cage seating area creates a cosy and luxe ambience while green walls and hanging vines add a romantic flair.
There's also a private dining area with walls completely covered in greenery to feel like you'r dining in a lush indoor forest.
The atas-ness continues in their menu, with artisanal dim sum like the cute Snow Mountain Yuzu Cha Siu Bao ($6) and Chinese Kale with Prawn Rice Roll ($8.80).
Besides dim sum, the restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes like porridge, fried rice, noodles and even pasta like the Speciale Crab Meat Sauce Linguine ($22) and Funghi Fettucine in Truffle Creamy Sauce ($18).
They also offer an affordable MASA style High Tea Set for 2 pax ($23.80++) from 2 to 6pm daily. That means you and your afternoon tea partner will only have to fork out $11.90 each!
