Good news for Super Nintendo fans: the new Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan in Osaka will be opening in early 2021!

Immerse yourself in the game in a life-sized recreation of the world with Mario Kart and Yoshi rides, cute themed food, merchandise and more.

Nintendo of America has just released new concept illustrations of what the attractions will look like!

Some attractions to look forward to are an ultra realistic "Mario Kart", a family-friendly ride that takes you around the world of Mario on the back of Yoshi and a challenge that utilises a power-up band in a vast area consisting of several layers.

There will also be a lot of fun of fun little things to do that will make you feel like you're in the Super Nintendo game like Hatana Blocks that you can hit!

The Mario Cafe & Store on Hollywood Boulevard will be full of Mario merchandise and food designed with Mario's iconic colours and motifs.
