Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is one of the most popular attractions in Japan apart from Disneyland, and a new addition to the theme park is going to make fans even more excited to be able to travel again!

The Super Nintendo World in USJ was set to open in summer this year but got pushed back due to COVID-19. However, construction on the final stages continued and an aerial view image of the new portion of the theme park emerged online recently.

Imagine an immersive and innovative universe of Nintendo brought to life. It's a dream come true, right?

The Super Nintendo World will use state-of-the-art technology to create a theme park experience with countless opportunities to discover the excitement of your favourite games.

According to USJ, visitors will get to be in the driver's seat in Mario Kart, explore the area on the back of a Yoshi, take it to the next level with a Power Up Band to keep score and stay connected while discovering a multi-level game area filled with one-of-a-kind challenges. Sounds super exciting already!

Going back to the aerial view image that has emerged online, it shows that the colourful Super Nintendo World has some iconic elements that fans will recognise at first glance such as Peach's castle.

It also uses a hidden entrance method where most of the land is obscured and visitors will only be able to see what it's like after stepping in. This definitely raises the expectations and makes visitors feel even more thrilled!

The Power Up Bands mentioned above lets visitors enjoy interactive experiences such as collecting coins and competing with other visitors. How cool is that?

We can't wait for Super Nintendo World to officially open and all Nintendo fans should definitely visit when it's safe to travel again!
