Asakusa is a popular tourist area in Tokyo for its attractions like Sensoji, a Buddhist temple built in the 7th century and Tokyo Skytree, the tallest building in Japan. Once you've finished exploring the city for the day, you can relax and recharge in a room while being surrounded by all things Hello Kitty!

Asakusa Tobu Hotel has just announced two new Hello Kitty-themed rooms available for reservation from 24 August 2020.

This room features a combination of modern Western and traditional Japanese elements in the interior design. There's plenty of pink decorating the room plus Hello Kitty wearing a modern-style kimono.

There are only three rooms for each type and six rooms in total. Each room measures 35.7㎡ and accommodates up to four guests. The rooms have Japanese-style bathrooms with a separate separate sink, toilet, bathtub and shower area.

The hotel is also planning on creating merchandise exclusive for hotel guests. There are no pictures out yet but we're guessing it'll be Hello Kitty-themed! Reservations begin on 24 August 2020 on Asakusa Tobu Hotel's website.
