Singaporean Billionaire Heiress Kim Lim Gets Divorce After 3 Years, Breakup Initiated By Herself
2020 has been a year rife with celebrity breakups; So far, we’ve seen Gillian Chung and most recently, NOC’s Ryan & Sylvia end their relationships - not forgetting the infamous Show Luo cheating scandal, which left the singer heartbroken and regretful.
Sadly, yet another famous couple has headed for splitsville, and this time, it’s Singaporean billionaire heiress Kim Lim and husband Kho Bin Khai, also known as BK Kho.

Kim Lim is the daughter of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim. While she’s often in the limelight as an influencer who’s part of the rich and famous crowd, not much is known about her ex-husband, who dislikes social media and publicity in general.
The only time he received media attention was when he was out on $25,000 bail after being charged for remote gambling offences.

The pair first met at a Buddhist temple in Thailand in 2016, where she found herself being attracted to his strong build and “bad boy” vibes. Turns out, he was a friend of her assistant. Not long after, they got married in early 2017, and had their first and only child Kyden five months later.

Citing a lost spark and monotonous relationship as the reason for the breakup - and saying it had nothing to do with Bin Khai’s gambling charges - Kim was the one who brought up the divorce. In his usual quiet nature, her former husband calmly accepted it.
According to her, they did make attempts to rekindle the marriage, but to no avail.
"Instead of forcing ourselves to survive in an unhappy marriage, it's better to give each other freedom."

The ex-couple are still on amicable terms, and will continue to co-parent their son, who recently turned three in July. Kim acknowledges that Bin Khai is a very good father to the boy.

For now, Kim will be fully focusing on her beauty businesses, aesthetic salon Illumia Therapeutics and hair clinic Papilla Haircare.
