Wu Zun And His Wife Finally Hold Wedding Ceremony 16 Years After Getting Married

Ex-Fahrenheit member Wu Zun (吳尊) and his wife, Lin Liying, got married in 2004 but did not have the chance to hold a wedding dinner or take wedding pictures together back then for fear that their relationship would go public.

However, he and his wife finally held their wedding ceremony recently in a Chinese variety show, Before Wedding (婚前21天), 16 years after getting married!

Before Wedding is a reality TV show that follows four couples as they prepare for their weddings, showing viewers their thoughts on a perfect wedding as well as the harsh reality of wedding preparation.

Following the ceremony, Wu Zun penned his thoughts in a Weibo post along with some pictures from the event.

He said that he and his wife have gone through "lots of ups and downs" which is why he decided to set up a museum at the wedding ceremony showcasing their memories from over the years.

He went on to say, "Love and family are so important to me. She motivates me and gives me courage to pursue our dreams. This love made me look at life in a positive light. So thankful that I found someone whom I can spend the rest of my life with, making me look forward to what's in store for us in the future."

The 40-year-old also thanked Before Wedding for giving him the chance to hold this wedding ceremony to make up for what was lost.

In a series of photos Wu Zun posted, one of it shows him tearing up when his wife appeared in a beautiful wedding dress. He wrote that he was extremely touched by the DIY wedding dress with drawings of their memories.

The couple's nine-year-old daughter Nei Nei and six-year-old son Max were present at the ceremony too.

More photos of the wedding ceremony were posted by Before Wedding and it honestly looked like it jumped right out of a fairytale with a castle as the backdrop, lots of flowers and gold and white as the main colour theme!

The couple also had an after-party that looked a little risqué with Wu Zun straddling his wife and the caption in the photo reads, "Do not take pictures! Little kids, please cover your eyes!" ?
