#1 The Bridge Curse - 13 July

Horror junkies will love this movie! The Bridge Curse is based on the legend of the haunted bridge at Tunghai University in Taichung, Taiwan but has been renamed Tunghu University in the film.

Rumour has it that years ago, a girl jumped off the bridge, drowned herself for the man she loved and has been haunting the bridge ever since. In order to promote the test of courage, a group of students daringly did a live stream on the bridge late at night and caught the female ghost on camera. However, they go missing afterwards and four years later, an investigative journalist goes to the bridge with a cameraman to try to find out the truth.

#2 Train to Busan: Peninsula - 15 July

Train to Busan: Peninsula is the sequel to the 2016 Korean blockbuster, Train to Busanbut with an entirely new storyline. Picking up four years after the events of Train to Busan, the fight for survival begins again as Jung-seok and his team are ambushed by a militia known as Unit 631 and vicious zombie hordes. During his desperate struggle to survive, Min-jung and her family save him from the brink of death. Together, they formulate one last plan to escape the peninsula for good.

The trailer for the movie shows the characters a little more prepared this time with guns and cars in their possession so it seems like it's going to be an exciting ride!

#3 Intruder - 23 July

Broken-hearted from recently losing his wife in a car accident, Seo-jin, an architect, receives a call saying that his younger sister, Yu-jin, who had gone missing 25 years ago, has been found. Though he is uncomfortable with Yu-jin, his parents welcome her with open arms. Strange things begin to happen to Seo-jin's family upon her return. Suspicious of the changes, he secretly trails Yu-jin and learns she is involved in the case that turned his entire life upside down.

#4 Mulan - 20 August

The long-awaited release of Mulan has been pushed back a number of times but fans can finally catch it in August!

When Mary Lennox's parents pass away, she is sent back to England to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven. There, she begins to uncover family secrets, particularly after meeting her sickly cousin Colin, who has been shut away in a wing of the house. The two damaged and slightly misfit children heal each other through their discovery of a wondrous secret garden together.

Since this is by the producers of Harry Potter and Paddington, we have an inkling that this movie is going to be good!

#6 A Quiet Place Part II - 3 September

Sequel to A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part II will follow the Abbott family as they face the terrors of the outside world and fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realise the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
