Slow Boat: Singapore's First-Ever LP Cafe Is A Music Lover's Haven With Over 500 Vinyl Records
It's true: retro is pretty much synonymous with cool these days, thanks to all the retro-themed cafes, photo booths and exhibitions that have been all the rage. And that's why we can't think of anything cooler than a day spent at Slow Boat, the first-ever vinyl cafe in Singapore where customers can listen to their pick of records on turntables!

Each listening table comes with a seating space for two people, making this cafe the perfect spot to sit back and unwind from a long week with your date or bestie. We also love how laidback and cosy the space is feels, all decked out with wood-toned furniture, pops of colour from all-mounted album art and the occasional hanging plant.

There's a huge collection of over 500 vinyls to choose from, including those from popular artists like Taylor Swift and Coldplay to classics like Michael Jackson and David Bowie. The staff here will teach each customer how to correctly put in and play the vinyls, so you can pick as many records as you like and switch between them whenever you please.

Wait a minute, this all sounds really expensive, you say? Fret not, because a listening ticket ($30) includes an hour of listening time and one free drink. Besides the standard black, white and iced coffees, visitors can also opt for yuzu tea, green tea or a root beer float.

It was pretty crowded when we visited Slow Boat, so make sure you make a reservation before visiting to avoid disappointment. Reservations open two weeks in advance on the cafe's website.
