Tim Hortons' reputation precedes itself. This coffee shop, universally beloved in its home country, Canada, is probably a familiar name among coffee lovers in Singapore, even when it didn't exist here until now! Tim Hortons has finally made its debut here with its first café in VivoCity.

Set to open on 17 November 2023, the coffee shop will have an extensive menu including signature coffee beverages, sourdough melts and baked goods including bite-sized doughnuts AKA Timbits.
Tim Hortons' history goes back to 1964, when one of Canada's hockey stars, Tim Horton, opened his eponymous coffee and doughnut shop in his neighbourhood. Since then, the coffee joint has been an icon of Canadian culture for over five decades.

Welcoming diners at the new Tim Hortons café in VivoCity is a towering installation of their red coffee cup. Inside, the interiors reflect the brand's new design concept, incorporating warm tones and organic shapes inspired by the Canadian wilderness. There are also charming maple motifs peppered throughout the store.

The Original Cold Brew ($5.50 - $6.70) is sure to be a crowd-pleaser with its smooth flavour, robust aroma and touch of sweetness. You can also switch up your cold brew with unique options ($6.50 - $7.70) like Salted Caramel, Peach and Maple Cream Foam. The Iced Capps ($6.50 - $8.70) will also be a universal hit. These slushie-like coffee beverages have the same refined flavour of Tim Hortons' coffee but in a slurp-worthy rendition that's perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Complementing the beverages is a line-up of savouries and sweets.
The made-to-order sourdough melts (from $8.90) are the perfect pick-me-up when you're in the mood for something simple yet comforting. These grilled sandwiches are made with chewy sourdough bread and generous fillings like Truffle Mushroom and Pesto Chicken and Mozzarella.

If you're there for the classic combo of coffee & doughnuts, take your pick of Tim Horton's freshly dipped doughnuts that have a light and fluffy texture. Those with a sweet tooth will love the Boston Cream Donut ($3.50), but something that'll appeal more to the Singaporean palate is the Maple Salted Caramel Donut ($3.50). Our favourite of the lot, this doughnut had a sweetness that wasn't cloying and had delicious hints of vanilla and caramel with a fun mouthfeel. A close runner up was the Classic Glazed Donut ($2.90)!

Of course, there's also the fan-favourite, Timbits ($10 for a box of 10), which are adorable mini ball versions of the doughnuts.
