Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

Coffee aficionados, there's a new cafe in town where you can get your daily caffeine fix! Kenangan Coffee, popular Indonesian chain and Southeast Asia's first retail F&B unicorn, has ventured to our shores for the first time. The brand has over 800 outlets in Indonesia thanks to plenty of demand for their quality and addictive brews. Singaporeans can now have a taste of this beloved coffee at the Kenangan Coffee cafe at Raffles City

Located at the mall's basement, Kenangan Coffee has a cosy, minimalist seating space peppered with greenery. It's nothing too fancy, but the comfortable seats and spacious layout makes it an ideal spot for mid-shopping breaks or business meetings. Besides, the coffees are the main star of the show!

True to its Indonesian roots, Kenangan Coffee serves up beverages that have a delicious Indonesian twist with Black Aren. This premium palm sugar is derived from the Arenga pinnata palm in Java, and when mixed with coffee, imbues it with a rich, caramel-molasses flavour. As a plus, this sugar is minimally processed, additive-free and has a low glycemic index.

This magic ingredient is used in many of the coffees including the Kenangan Latte ($4.90 - $6.50). The coffee has a wonderfully full-bodied taste on its own, and with the Black Aren (served separately) poured in, it takes on a rich earthy taste with a subtle smokiness. It's as delightful as promised!

Another signature drink is the Avocado Coffee ($6.50 - $7.50). While it sounded and looked a little too experimental, the combination surprisingly worked. The refined grassiness of avocado paired beautifully with the smooth coffee. And despite having a rich, creamy texture, it had a light mouthfeel and wasn't jelak.

Prefer something more traditional? You'll be pleased with their other drinks like Mocha ($6.50 - $7.50) and Americano ($6.50 - $7.50).
