Waa Cow! Opens Its Flagship & 1st Family-Centric Outlet In Singapore With Outlet-Exclusive Menu
For beef lovers, Waa Cow! needs no introduction. Their wagyu beef bowl specialty restaurants have always been a go-to indulgent lunch spot for CBD office workers and NUS University students. And now, Waa Cow! is catering to families with their new flagship at VivoCity, which also marks their 6th outlet.
The family-centric restaurant offers a line-up of exclusive, outlet-only items including new dons, small-plates and kid's meals.
Food at Waa Cow! VivoCity
If you're a fan of Waa Cow!'s signature dons, treat yourself to the supersized version of them - the Premium Dons.
We're still reminiscing fondly about the Truffle Royale ($36.90), an umami-packed comfort meal with fragrant truffle rice topped with fatty, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef. Elevating the flavours further were caviar, ikura, summer asparagus and foie gras.

While I've never quite developed the taste buds for foie gras, Waa Cow!'s rendition was surprisingly a delight thanks to the beautiful char adding a smoky aftertaste to the rich, creamy and sweet liver.

Those who prefer seafood will feel utterly spoilt while feasting on Medley of The Sea ($36.90), a sushi rice bowl with well-seasoned unagi, a piquant anago, tender scallops and ikura.

Another premium don to try is Meat Lovers Chirashi ($35.90) which comes with premium wagyu slices, iberico pork jowl, tender-grilled teriyaki chicken and foie gras.
We also tried some of the exclusive appetisers that we're sure will be a hit. Dragon Prawn Maki ($19.90) had crispy deep fried tiger prawns drizzled with mentai sauce and house-made chilli oil adding a unique Chinese-style twist, while the Grilled Eggplant ($14.90) was a simple yet thoroughly satisfying side dish topped with ikura and rice crisps for a fun mouthfeel.

But our favourite was the Truffle Chawanmushi ($8.90), a delicate and smooth egg custard with an addictive truffle aroma complete with mushrooms and crabstick.

Another one worth trying is Chef Ben's Cheesy Crab Dumpling ($13.90). These bites have a smooth, cheesy filling with crab wrapped in crispy wonton skin.

For the little ones, there are three Kids Meals to choose from: Chef Ben's Special Set ($15.90), Ebi Curry ($14.90) and Wagyu Beef Curry ($16.90).
Ambience at Waa Cow! VivoCity
This 90-seater outlet sports the same jazzy look as their Serangoon Gardens yakiniku joint, with bold blues, neon lights and a vibrant beach-themed mural.

The restaurant is a little tricky to find as it's tucked away behind boarding at the new extension area. Look for the corridor beside Tangs at Level 1, then head further inside and you'll spot the signature royal blue colours!
