You Can Now Join Squid Game IRL Thanks To A New Netflix Reality Competition Series; Cash Prize At $4.56 Million
Did the games in Squid Game season 1 feel like child’s play? If you’re confident of acing a ddakji battle and avoiding the deadly gaze of Young-hee the animatronic doll in Red Light, Green Light, this could be your chance at winning some sweet cash money.
Netflix has announced a casting call for Squid Game: The Challenge, a brand-new reality competition series mirroring the successful South Korean drama series. With both the largest cast and lump sum cash prize in reality TV history, 456 real players will enter the game in pursuit of a life-changing reward of $4.56 million—with no fatal consequences, thankfully.

The contestants will be expected to compete in games inspired by the original show, along with surprising new additions. Like in the actual series, their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.
If Squid Game season 1 was anything to go by, the ticking of the clock was enough to put anyone on edge, especially when it came to the dalgona candy challenge.
