Pink Attraction @ GBTB Extended To 4 Apr With New Fairy Light Tunnel, Ethereal Tree & Other Photo Spots
There’s no need to rush to visit Otah & Friends, the adorable pink otter-themed pop-up attraction at Gardens by The Bay, for its initial end date of 26 February has now been extended to 4 April 2021. In a tribute to Singapore’s wild otters - which have become quite the sensation on social media - this photo-worthy exhibition cum mini escape game features Otah the otter, whom you’ll have to seek out before his cookies burn in his oven.
With this exhibition extension comes a new fairy light tunnel, portraits of Otah’s family, and other photogenic additions for you to have fun while in the midst of the game.

If you’ve read our previous article on Otah & Friends, you’ll know that it’s fashioned to look like Otah’s home, with bright pink walls accented by blue and yellow furniture. It’s almost like stepping into a real-life cartoon world!

Since its opening last year, the interactive otter-themed attraction has since gotten some fresh new photo spots, one of which is a twinkling fairy light tunnel with glow-in-the-dark star and moon motifs.

Take a far shot from a low angle with you in the middle - it’ll look as though you’re tumbling through outer space!

Other additions include family portraits of Otah and his otter kin. Line up a row with your own fam, and try copying their poses!

Another gorgeous zone is a mysterious blue room with a lemon tree standing in the middle. An iridescent gauzy material forms an ethereal canopy, brought to life by bright dangling lemons and what looks to be eucalyptus branches.

One could say this is a more vibrant alternative to the Instagram tree at Jurong Lake Gardens. Stand hand in hand with bae and pose for some whimsical couple shots!

In fact, couple photo ops can be found all over the exhibition - perhaps this could be a unique pre-wedding photoshoot idea for lovebirds who prefer a fun, cutesy vibe and don’t want to go for the standard locations!

Lemons are a recurring theme here, because they’re Otah’s favourite drink. Clearly, when life gives you lemons, you should turn it into a chance to go trigger happy with your camera.

There’s also a mirrored wall which makes for cool reflection shots, and a picnic area full of cheery sunflowers - complete with props like a basket of bread and pastel tingkat container.
