Go Go Squid! (亲爱的, 热爱的) is a drama that has been receiving lots of love since it aired on July 6 thanks to the ever adorable Yang Zi and of course, our focus for today - Li Xian.
Li Xian's cold yet adorable character Han Shangyan is so well received the actor trended on Weibo's list of top 10 hot topics, with Chinese netizens calling him their "July Boyfriend!"
The 44-episode drama is based on a novel of the same name by Mo Bao Fei Bao. It features Tong Nian (Yang Zi), a scholar taking her Master's degree at the age of 19 who is at the same time, famous online for her song covers. Han Shangyu (Li Xian), on the other hand, is a cold (but hot) e-sports gamer who knows nothing about love. Their paths crossed as Tong Nian met Han Shangyu in a cyber cafe and fell in love with him at first sight.
