By Zoe Zeng on 17 Jan 2025

Planning on heading down to ARTBOX 2025 this weekend? FYI, this year's ARTBOX EVERYDAY will feature over 600 food and retail vendors hailing from Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia. With that much to see, do, eat and explore, visitors will surely be spoiled for choice.

But hold your horses! Before you make your way to Singapore Expo Hall 4 over the weekends of 17–19 and 24–26 January, check out our quick and easy guide to all the must-visit areas at ARTBOX 2025. Trust us, you'll want to make a beeline to these hotspots before the crowds beat you to it!

1. Snap photos and hang out at ARTBOX Estate

Quick, before your makeup and outfit get all rumpled from all the shopping, eating and playtime you'll be getting, grab your crew and pose for a few photos at ARTBOX Estate! This area's playful design puts a fresh spin on HDB blocks, making it the perfect spot to hang out and participate in exciting activities.

With options ranging from Open Mic karaoke sessions to taking on your pals via VR and Nintendo Switch games, the only question left is: what should we do first?

2. Share the goodness and spread kindness with SōngHè

While you're having a blast, why not take the chance to share the joy? SōngHè makes giving back to the community quick, easy and fun with their Live Rice Donation initiative, located near the ARTBOX Estate. Every ARTBOX visitor will receive a special heart-shaped key that they can use at this zone.

Simply show this key to the staff and unlock a locker of your choice. You'll get to keep the surprise gift inside your chosen locker and contribute two bowls of rice to the less fortunate.

3. Unwind over a game of chess at the Chess Club area

Whether you're a closet chess fanatic or a rookie who can't tell a rook from a bishop, the Chess Club is a great place to explore the game with good company. There's plenty of seating space for you and your loved ones to play, and many of the chess sets here come in Insta-worthy colours and designs (spot the pink chess set in our pic).

What's more, there are some interestingly designed, larger-than-life chess pieces on display, perfect for anyone who just wants to sit back, relax and admire the pieces.

4. Pose for a kawaii photo strip at Jelly Caricature

Commemorate the occasion by getting a cute photo strip drawn at Jelly Caricature! Known for providing customers with kawaii, vintage manga-style portraits in the form of a photo strip, Jelly Caricature offers up portraits, photo strips (podtraits), as well as theatre-inspired images for singles (from $10) and duos (from $15).

There's also an option to add on additional faces or elements for a top-up of $10. This popular booth might take a bit of queueing, but it's sure to provide you with a unique keepsake (and 'grammable picture) of your outing to ARTBOX this year.

5. Shop till you drop at the retail booths

Here's where things get really dangerous... for our wallets. Those prone to shopaholic fits and indecision may also feel the pain of having to navigate a literal maze of vendors stretching as far as the eye can see. But fret not, we've handpicked a few must-visit stores offering the cutest and most unique gifts and goodies!

Leading the charge with her funny and relatable designs is illustrator Jolyn (@byjolyn on IG) at Booth 71 with an array of prints, waterproof stickers, apparel and lifestyle items like calendars and deskmats. These cute characters had us chuckling aloud more than once, and will likely leave you squealing 'omg that's so me'.

Have a soft spot for dreamy and floral goods? (Extra points for the girlies who can't resist a bit of Kpop-inspired merch.) You won't regret making Witheveryspring (@witheveryspring on IG) at Booth 79 your next stop, thanks to their variety of feminine, coquette waterproof stickers, bag charms, cardholders and keyrings. The stars of the show are the gorgeous orchid bag charms, which you can pick out with your besties and have personalised on the spot.

If you love collecting adorable blind boxes and collectibles like Sonny Angels, Sylvanian Families and Mofusand, then you simply cannot miss out on Charm Me Up (@shopcharmmeup on IG) at Bo0ths 18 and 19. Here's where you can customise your own keyrings (or shop for a brand new piece to add to your collection), complete with personalised outfits and dangling charms.

Sparkle Please (@sparkle.please on IG)Photo from GirlStyle Singapore

What do you get when you combine a love for crystal jewellery and POP MART characters? Probably something like what Sparkle Please (@sparkle.please on IG) has at Booths 142 and 143, where customers can mix and match charms and beads to create their own bracelet, keychain or phone strap! Not only is there a truly enormous assortment of sparkly beads (they also look very crunchy and edible), there are fuzzy character charms in the form of Labubu, Pucky and your fave POP MART besties too.

Speaking of jewellery, Shuark.co (@shuark.co on IG) at Booth 110 has some amazingly pretty handcrafted pieces for all the girly girls out there. These intricate clay pieces come with customisable elements — eg. those without ear piercings can get the needle part of the earrings exchanged for clip-ons — and are great as gifts for loved ones too.

6. Feast on delicious street food and snacks at the F&B zone

Honestly, what's a visit to ARTBOX without enjoying some delicious street food? Chances are that you'll be feeling super thirsty after shopping and enjoying the activities, so we recommend grabbing some drinks at festival staple Loco Loco, where you can snag a large cup of iced Thai Red Milk Tea, Thai Green Tea or Sakura Milk Tea at just $5.

If you're looking for something to share, SOHTT is a great pick — their offerings include everything from satisfyingly crunchy Poppop Chicken ($12) and Cheesy Bites ($13 per set), to sweets like Mochi Croffles ($15 for box of 3) in flavours like Milo Dino, Biscoff, and Nutella, that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

In the mood for a major treat? Grab yourself some juicy Yakiniku Ribeye Beef Cubes ($15 for 120g, $18 for 200g) at My Cow Bae, our go-to for some meaty and tender instant gratification. We'd totally understand if you're not planning to share this one, because same here.

7. Enjoy live performances and entertainment at the ARTBOX stage

Once you've gotten your hands on your grub of choice, find a seat at the ARTBOX stage and tuck in while enjoying the plethora of live performances there. The lineup is jam-packed with local and international talent — each act has a limited time slot, keeping you on the edge of your seat and wanting to see more!

Expect to see headliners like talented singer-songwriters Jenn Chia and Priscilla Abby, as well as the hilarious Dr Jason Leong (now that's one comedian who has us busting a lung laughing at his dad jokes).

Tickets to ARTBOX are priced at $7 on weekdays and $8 on weekends. You can grab your tickets ahead of time on the ARTBOX website.
