Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

Each October, Goodwood Park Hotel's L'Espresso rolls out a limited-time pink afternoon tea buffet that delivers both taste and aesthetics, and this year is no exception. Crafted to pay homage to the pink ribbon, the symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness, the delicious spread includes beautiful pink treats along with comforting European classics.

The chefs at L'Espresso have outdone themselves again with an array of light and refreshing desserts that are almost too pretty to eat. From the Lychee & Rose Cake to Strawberry Eclair, the dainty morsels come in pastel pink and are decorated with flower-shaped chocolates. Even the financiers, macarons and pralines have been given a rosy makeover. If you like your desserts rich and indulgent, save space for the Rose Cream Crème Brûlée.

The savouries deserve a spot on your pink-themed plate too. Assorted finger sandwiches are made with fluffy pink bread, while other treats have delicious toppings tucked into pink tarts and pastry shells.

Keep an eye out for the Chef's Specials which will be bought out in limited quantities during the buffet. We can't pick a favourite! The Smoked Salmon Tartar with Crème Fraiche & Caviar in Pink Cone is a briny delight, the Panini Tomato Tortilla with Spiced Chicken, Avocado Salad & Sour Cream packs plenty of flavour, and the Warm Pink Chocolate Tart with Berries puts a fruity spin on a velvety rich dessert.

Of course, diners can also expect the quintessential part of any afternoon tea - scones. L'Espresso goes beyond the usual plain and raisin scones with novel scone flavours accompanied by an array of condiments. Our picks are the Coffee and Maple Pecan scones! Go the traditional way with Devonshire Clotted Cream and Homemade Strawberry Jam, or pair your scones with Caramel Banana, Nutella and Lemon Curd.

Completing the feast is a choice of Tea or two Coffees, and a free-flow of drinks like ice lemon tea.
