Conrad Centennial Singapore Unveils A Whimsical Afternoon Tea Set Inspired By Alice In Wonderland
Everything's enchanting, wonderfully chaotic and curiouser with a bit of Alice in Wonderland-inspired whimsy. Case in point: the latest afternoon tea set at Conrad Centennial Singapore's Lobby Lounge served from 2 September to 24 November 2024. Named "Whimsical Wonderland", this new afternoon tea experience comes with gorgeous little morsels themed after Lewis Carroll's novel.
A luxurious spread of 10 dainty little delights are crafted with familiar elements than fans will recognise from hearts and playing cards to The Mad Hatter's hat and The White Rabbit's pocket watch. They're served in the hotel's signature display stand that also has its own themed makeover with red and white checkered patterns as an ode to the two queens in the story.

Start with six savoury nibbles like Iberico Croquettes, Miso Cauliflower & Curry sandwiches and Shrimp Cocktails. Once you're ready for dessert, indulge in four beautiful works of art including The Scarlet Queen with layers of Oabika Nyangbo cremeux, vanilla mousse, and almond jocondeto, and Rabbit in the Hole with ivory whip ganache, coconut Malibu mousse and gula melaka sponge.
Of course, this Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea also comes with the quintessentials - scones and tea. Diners will enjoy a free flow of TWG Tea and Bacha Coffee during the entire two-hour session as well as homemade plain and raisin scones paired with wild strawberry jam and clotted cream.

The Whimsical Wonderland Afternoon Tea is available at Lobby Lounge daily from 2 September to 24 November 2024 in two seatings, from 1 to 3pm and 3:30 to 5:30pm.
