David & Victoria Beckham Recreate Iconic 1999 Purple Wedding Look For Their 25th Anniversary
David & Victoria Beckham are marking their 25th anniversary with a stylish tribute.
The couple, who tied the knot on 4 July 1999, shared a joint Instagram post on 3 and 4 July, dressed in the same iconic outfits that closely resemble the purple Antonio Berardi outfits they wore on their wedding day 25 years ago.
"Look what we found…" they posted on Instagram.

In the new photo, the couple sat on thrones. Victoria wore the same shiny gladiator high heels, but with her long hair down. Back in 1999, she had her iconic pixie cut from her Spice Girls days.
David, meanwhile, sported more tattoos in the updated photo and fewer highlights in his hair. He grinned widely as his wife held his hand.

As usual, fans flooded in with comments. One said, "Going to tell my kids these are the Queen and King of England." Another fan noted, "It's David's purple shoes for me."
At their wedding in 1999, the Beckhams dressed in matching ivory outfits for the ceremony before changing into the vibrant purple attire for the celebration.
Now, more than twenty years later, the Beckhams are proud parents to four children: Brooklyn Beckham, 25, born just before their wedding; Romeo, 21; Cruz, 19; and Harper Seven, 12.

How did David & Victoria Beckham meet?

In an interview, David said, "A couple of months before we met, I was abroad with the England team. Gary Neville and I were in the hotel room when a Spice Girls video came on. I think it was Say You'll Be There. I pointed at the screen and told him, 'That's the girl for me, and I'm going to get her.'"

Victoria first saw David, a professional athlete, in magazines. Despite not being a fan of football, she attended a game in 1997 where they met. Two years later, they married, and the rest is history.
If this isn't love, then we don't want it.
