Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie Is A New Rooftop Restaurant Offering Buffets With Premium Meats
The main star of any buffet is no doubt the fresh seafood on ice. For meat lovers, however, the premium red meats section is what it's all about. If you salivate at the idea of an unlimited beef, pork and chicken feast, there's a new buffet spot that's your match - Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie.
This rooftop restaurant is located at Momentus Hotel Alexandra, right by the infinity pool and Verandah Pool Bar & Grill, which offers dinners on floating trays.
Ambience at Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie
Basking in the light from floor-to-ceiling windows, the luxe yet cosy space has a contemporary design with stylish pops of teal and touches of greenery. Diners will get to dine with a view that, at Level 7, isn't sky-high, but still unrestricted and picturesque.

Weekend Buffet Dinner at Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie
The buffet menu features modern European cuisine infused with familiar Asian flavours, which is presented in traditional dishes as well as via entertaining live stations.
Live Action Kitchen
The pièce de résistance of the spread is the Live Action Kitchen where chefs serve up succulent roasts on demand.
The 75°C Slow Roasted Argentinian Angus Beef Ribeye was to die for! A chef slices portions of the raw beef, then seasons and grills it on the spot according to your preferred doneness - all in just a few seconds. This meant that every serving would be served piping hot and freshly grilled rather than left on a plate. This tender steak had a rich, buttery flavour and a delectable smokiness.

There's also Australian Wagyu Tomahawk which is ideal for those who like their beef fatty and packed with umami.
The ribeye was the show-stealer of the buffet, but a close runner-up was the signature 48-hour Citrus Brined Rotisserie Chicken. It was roast chicken done right, and reminded me of a lovingly home-cooked meal, with juicy and well-marinated meat.
Lastly on the meat line-up is the Crackling Stuffed Porchetta with fennel, sage, pancetta and pine.

These delicious meats are flavourful enough on their own, but you can elevate the flavours with sauces like Whisky Mustard and Sarawak Black Pepper and condiments like Truffle Salt and Engligh & Dijon Mustard.
Something even more exciting to watch is the Parmigiano Cheese Wheel Pasta, where a chef tosses freshly cooked pasta in a hollowed cheese wheel and scrapes the sides while mixing it in. This makes the cheese melt and coat the pasta with punchy, cheesy goodness.

Hand-Stretched Wood-Fired Sourdough Pizza

Diners can also watch chefs hand stretch sourdough pizzas that are baked in a wood-fired oven using apple-wood. Choose from the classic Margherita or Asian-inspired renditions like Seafood Sakura Ebi and Gochujang Chicken.
Seafood On Ice
Of course, there's also plenty for seafood enthusiasts. Served on ice are Live Pacific Oysters, Poached Sea Prawns and Black Mussels.

Diners can also look forward to other outstanding hot dishes like Seafood Paella and Beef Short Ribs Buah Keluak as well as charcuterie, antipasti, soups and artisan bread with kombu butter.

Dessert
The dessert line-up was small but satisfactory. While I would usually say "save space for desserts", Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie's strong suit is their premium meats, and so, I'd recommend reserving most of your dining stamina on that!
