When it's time for a rest, guests will head to The Millhouse, a Hobbit-inspired home that sleeps up to four with two bedrooms, two beds and a bathroom. It comes with the essentials like wifi, towels, soap and toilet paper. There's also a garden, kitchen, outdoor dining area, TV and a cosy indoor fireplace.

The charming cottage-like home is filled with Hobbit-worthy decor curated by the trilogies' Creative Director Brian Massey. There's even a writing nook fit for Bilbo Baggins.

Like with any Airbnb location, this Hobbiton stay has its own set of house rules that are hilariously on-theme: no unexpected parties unless with Gandalf and company, no pets are allowed except for Pickles, the resident Hobbiton cat, among others.

All this is going for a price that's just too good to be true - NZD 10 (SGD 9) per night. The competition will be fierce as there are only three stays available: 2 - 4, 9 - 11, and 16 - 18 March 2023. Guests must have a verified Airbnb profile, a history of positive reviews and be at least 18 years old.

Mark your calendars and prepare for battle! Booking opens this Wednesday, 14 December at 10am NZDT (5am in Singapore) at airbnb.com/hobbiton.

P.S. there's a Three Little Pigs Farm in Taiwan that has tiny homes that look like Hobbit Holes.
