New Three Little Pigs-Themed Farm In Chiayi, Taiwan Is A Must-Visit

Planning a trip to Taiwan once we can travel again? If you're an animal lover or simply love a good Insta-worthy spot, add the new Three Little Pigs Sightseeing Farm [三隻小豬觀光農場] to your bucket list!

This new farm just opened its doors in July 2020 in Chiayi, a city located about three hours from Taipei and one and a half hours from Taichung. Chiayi is often visited as a gateway to Alishan, one of the top scenic attractions in Taiwan, but also has its own attractions including this cute farm.

The Three Little Pigs Sightseeing Farm was developed to encourage interaction with nature and has over 20 animal species including capybara, meerkat, vicuna, gibbons, sika deer, sheep and pigs. The Three Little Pigs theme gives the farm an interesting twist and sets itself apart from other petting farms. ? ? ?

Take a picture with the pigs and their houses made of straw, sticks and bricks. You can pretend you're the pig or the wolf trying to blow the house down. ?

The farm is filled with other Insta-worthy spots like a mushroom house, glowing flowers and a tiny home that will make you feel like you're in New Zealand's Hobbiton.

The farm looks like a paradise for families with young children too! Besides the farm animals, it also has large grasslands, children's play areas and sand pits.
