It’s November! Besides being only a month away from the merriest time of the year (a.k.a. Christmas), 2023 is also fast approaching. Mark your calendars, Poké trainers, for Pokémon GO Safari Zone has finally wrapped things up in Taiwan and is now bringing its long-awaited festivities to Singapore this month. At this three-day-only event, you can partake in heaps of activities, including capturing and trading rare Pokémon, spotting new and uncommon ones like Shiny Purrloin and Maractus, and joining a themed Field Research, where you may chance upon Pikachu wearing a safari hat.

#2: Get into the Christmas spirit at Orchard Road

The season of giving is upon us. So while you head down to Orchard to shop for Christmas gifts for your loved ones, remember to step outside the malls to check out the glitzy arches of Christmas lights and decor decked along Singapore’s famous street from 12 November. Bored of your usual arcade hangouts like Cow Play Cow Moo and Timezone? It’s time you check out Gamebox, a pop-up neon gamified play zone taking over the outdoor space at Paya Lebar Quarter until 6 November.

Themed cafe expert Kumoya has been transformed into a LINE FRIENDS and BT21 paradise. Dubbed MY LITTLE BUDDY CAFE, this LINE FRIENDS and BT21 pop-up is fully clad in character-themed decor and serves specially-curated dishes cooked up by Little Miss Bento.

Everything is IG-worthy here, including the food and drinks, which are all adorably plated with different characters. There’s a claw machine filled with LINE FRIENDS and BT21 plushies, too, where you can pop in $2 to try your luck. Ready to take partying to new heights? Head over to Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck for Pelago’s Silent Disco In The Sky, where you’ll get to dance the night away under the stars to tunes of varying genres spun by three DJs.

Aside from being treated to gorgeous panoramic city views, you’ll get headsets with LED lights that glow in blue, green or red, depending on which music channel you’re on (green indicates disco grooves, while blue and red mean EDM and rock, respectively).

#7: Binge-watch Netflix’s adaptation of childhood horror book series Mr Midnight

In case you missed it: Netflix has just released the first season of the live-action adaptation of Mr Midnight, the popular horror book series by James Lee that most ‘90s and ‘00s kids grew up reading. Titled Mr Midnight: Beware The Monsters, this TV series tells the story of four teens who post their other-worldly adventures on a vlog named Mr. Midnight.
