Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

Mid-Autumn Festival is here! You've indulged in some mooncakes, and now, it's time to check out the elaborate lantern displays around Singapore.

Start your light display hop at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall's new lantern installation - Celestial Bodies.

Produced by Kai 3D Art Studio from Taiwan and in collaboration with the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, Celestial Bodies pays tribute to the moon which is at its brightest and roundest on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. The free outdoor installation features five lanterns shaped like characters by the artist: three planets - Earth, Saturn and Mercury - as well as the Sun and, of course, the Moon.

The giant ball-shaped lanterns are easily recognisable; Saturn has rings around it while Mars has a "rocky" surface. Each lantern comes with a smiling face and even hands and feet.

Surrounded by other planets, Celestial Bodies symbolises the joyous union of family and friends, and represents Singaporeans' wish to reunite with loved ones, both locally and overseas.
