Apple Opens New LA Store In A Grand Theatre With Gorgeous Sky Dome, Chandelier & Stained Glass

Tech giant Apple has just opened their newest and 26th location in Los Angeles, California, and it's housed in the Tower Theatre, a historic movie theatre which opened in 1927.

Upon closing in 1988, the space has been left unused till now, when Apple restored it to its full glory. The Apple Tower Theatre has a regal interior with a gorgeous sky dome, chandelier and stained glass window.

This new retail outlet is one of Apple's most significant restoration projects to date. The brand collaborated with leading preservationists, restoration artists, and the City of Los Angeles to showcase the theatre's beauty.

It's located around the corner of Eighth Street and Broadway, and the building is a sight to behold. The fully restored clock tower, recreated Broadway marquee, clean terracotta exterior, and renovated historic blade sign are just some of the grandest elements of the structure.

Walk through the doors and get ready to be greeted by a grand arched stairway with bronze handrails, inspired by Charles Garnier's Paris Opera house.

Apple's signature video wall is placed in the heart of the store, underneath a magnificent arch that is surrounded by the theatre's original balconies.

The eye-catching dome which originally depicted scenes of clouds and cherubs, now brightens the entire space with an atmospheric skyscape.

The restored stained glass window features a coiled celluloid film strip and a purple stripe found only on early sound film. Hanging next to it is a chandelier that makes the space look even more luxe than it already is.
