Singapore Flyer Has A New Interactive “Time Capsule” Attraction Centred Around Time Travel
Ever wished you could travel back in time to see how life was like in the past? Singapore Flyer’s newest attraction, Time Capsule, will take you through the yesteryears and future world in a multisensory journey full of animations and other interactive elements. It recently opened on 9 December 2020 as a permanent exhibit, and it’s eligible for SingapoRediscovers vouchers (SRV) when you book online through Klook.

Time Capsule at Singapore Flyer is an attraction that’s suitable for the whole family. You’ll be embarking on a time-travelling expedition with R65, a little red robot who will guide you through centuries of history before diving into the future.

Through this immersive experience, you’ll learn more about Singapore’s past as a little fishing village surrounded by myths and legends, and get to watch how we grew into the metropolitan city we are today.

Get ready for a vibrant visual feast, with loads of photography opportunities along the way too!

One main highlight that’s a crowd favourite is a mini light and sound show of sorts, set in a futuristic mirrored room.

The wall display is basically a moving mural, which takes on images unique to our country - with everything from our modern cityscape to motifs representing our multiethnic society.

Play with different angles as the screen glows with various hues and patterns, and make use of the reflections created by the mirror panels to get artsy-looking shots!

The zone full of floating orbs is another great spot for selfies with your loved ones.

Even food comes alive and takes on a kaleidoscopic nature here - look up at the ceiling and spot familiar local favourites like tutu kueh! This then morphs into other Singaporean symbols such as the iconic batik print of Singapore Airlines’ kebaya uniform.

You’ll also get the chance to be swept “underwater’, with fish swimming around your feet as a sea-themed projection overtakes an entire room.

Tickets are priced at $15 for Adults, and $10 for Children aged 12 and under. Make your booking online via Klook and remember to tick the SRV option if you’d like to use your SingapoRediscovers to offset the cost!
