Bears & Friends: SG's 1st Gummy Bear Specialty Store w/ Unique Flavours Like Prosecco, Coffee, & Chilli
Calling all sweet-tooths out there, especially those who are crazy over gummies: Bears & Friends, the first gummy bear specialty store in Singapore, is now open at Haji Lane with all the gummy bear flavours you could ever dream of and more.
Hailing from Munich, Germany since 1995, the brand prides itself of fruit gummies that are exclusively made in Bavaria and free of artificial flavours, colours (with a few exceptions), and stabilising ingredients. In fact, the fruit flavourings are derived from all sorts of fresh fruit juices, with actual pulp included.

Bears & Friends is located at a ground floor heritage shophouse unit at Haji Lane, not far from Bugis MRT. It won’t be difficult to spot the outlet, as the bright storefront bearing quirky illustrations of gummy bears in various forms stands out vibrantly.
Spot the gummy bears dressed up as a durian, orchid, samsui woman, and the Merlion - adorable takes on familiar Singaporean motifs that will delight both locals and tourists.

Step inside and you’ll be met with the sight of a rainbow of gummy bears lining the shelves - one of which is shaped like, you guessed it, a bear.

Like their adorable mascot Big Red over here, you’ll probably be spoiled for choice looking at the myriad of flavours. It’s just as well then, that Bears & Friends operates with a “pick and mix” concept where you can fill a cup up with anything you desire.

Pick and mix gummies here cost $2.50 for 50g, with a minimum purchase amount of 150g ($7.50 in total). If you think that’s too much sugar for you to handle, grab a friend and go splitsies.
Alternatively, you can purchase pre-packaged ones - either in assorted flavours or single-flavour packs.

In terms of flavours, there are standard fruity favourites like Juicy Wild Berries and Sour Peach, but if you’re up for something fancier, they also have unique picks like Prosecco, Gin & Tonic, and Coffee Beans. And then there’s the downright bizarre, like Red Hot Chilli Pepper - something fun for all the mala fanatics to try.
Gift tins for special occasions like Christmas are also available, alongside vegetarian and vegan-friendly options.
